James Koehnline wrote the following: 'In March of 2020 the I was sent home from the library and told to lay low for a few months, so I started a new series of digital collage works as my response to the plague year. I got started in collage fifty years ago and I’ve done thousands, handiwork and digital, but never with quite the intensity and persistence of My Covid Response. I browsed many tens of thousands of public domain images to assemble a new collection of source material and completed two or three new collages almost every day, posting them on social media. From that still-growing collection I have chosen two groups of around 150 and made them into two fifteen minute slideshows. All that was needed was a soundtrack for each...'

{AN} EeL adds: 'I happened to notice a Facebook post James asking about possible soundtracks - My immediate reaction was to present this project / challenge to EFSPACM and I am very proud to present here the results - Feast your ears on the collective soundtrack for the images of James Koehnline.'

Störtebeker concludes: 'I saw two already used beds and constructed a third, the music to give the images an auditive touch composed of musical elements shaped and created by some of our illusive ensemblemembers.'
